Research, Social Media & The Business of Physiotherapy

Research, Social Media & The Business of Physiotherapy
This course includes
Expert Series: Episode 1 with Greg Lehman, Sanjeev Bhatia, Nicole Sullivan, and Jesse Awenus
This is not a course about movement, mechanics or manual therapy.
This is a course about what we need as a profession and what you need as a physiotherapist.
This course will challenge you to think outside of the box.
What direction do we need to go as a profession to ensure we build momentum, gain public attention and work together collaboratively? What do you need to feel supported in your practice, connected with your peers and something about growth?
Some of the topics of discussion include:
- Entry-level training for physiotherapists - is it adequate to allow clinical competency?
- Is research congruent with clinical priorities?
- As a profession, physios are resistant to change and are hesitant to integrate new technologies and innovations. Fear or fact-based?
- Do we have a unified voice as a profession? Does it matter?
