Overview:

Research shows us that depression and anxiety levels predict how well individuals do with pelvic floor muscle training (Khan 2013).

The higher the levels, the poorer the response.

Meditation specifically for urgency and overactive bladder (OAB) has been shown by Donna Carrico to have a significantly beneficial effect on symptoms as well as depression and anxiety.

This audio resource package has been created based on Donna Carrico's work and is an integral part of decreasing urgency associated with an overactive bladder.

Coaching exercises for Kegels can be helpful to keep individuals focused on the task at hand.

Kegels can be mundane exercises that people often lose focus with.  This online physiotherapy course will help to keep them on track and remind them of their breathing.  It is like having your physiotherapist beside you when you do your Kegels.

This is the online audio research package that complements the Pelvic Health Solutions (PHS) Level 1 in-person course. In this resource package, you will have access to audio resources that you can share with patients.

What's Included:

  • 4 audio routines that you can easily prescribe to your patients
  • Lifetime access to the resources

FAQs

A resource package is not a complete online course. Rather, a resource package on Embodia contains patient exercises and/or education that can be prescribed to patients by an Embodia Member (subscriber) with a Tier 2 or 3 Membership. You can view membership pricing and what's included in the membership tiers by going here.

While you can access/purchase resource packages without an Embodia Membership, you will get the most out of a resource package if you have a Tier 2 or 3 Membership.

If you have any further questions, please email us at support@embodiaapp.com.

Yes, exercises included in courses or resource packages on Embodia can be prescribed directly through the Embodia platform. A Tier 2 or 3 Membership is required to prescribe exercises. These memberships include a range of other features. You can learn about home exercise programs (HEP) on Embodia here, and about memberships on Embodia here.
