The PhysioYoga and the Pelvic Floor Resource Package includes a total of 6 hours of a variety of guided video and audio practices for you to choose from and share with your patients, without any cost to your patients.
The practices include key components of integrating yoga into pelvic rehabilitation and wellness care in order to augment a whole-person-centered approach. The length of time of each practice segment varies, ranging from 2 minutes to 20 minutes.
The entire library of practices in this Resource Package is created and led by continuing education provider, clinician, and Embodia Instructor, Shelly Prosko. Shelly is a physiotherapist, yoga therapist, and pioneer of PhysioYoga.

The Practices Provided in The PhysioYoga and the Pelvic Floor Resource Package Include the Following:

  • Pelvic Floor Relaxation practices in various yoga postures and mindful movement.
  • Facilitation of Pelvic Floor Engagement and Excursion practices coordinated with Breath and Movement.
  • Standing Balance practices to enhance pelvic floor and core efficiency, using language and cueing to promote efficient breath and motor timing.
  • Additional Mindful Meditation practices to enhance calming of the nervous systems, focus and concentration, compassion, self-awareness, and psycho-emotional regulation.

The instructors
Shelly Prosko

Shelly is a physiotherapist, yoga therapist, educator and pioneer of PhysioYoga with over 20 years of experience integrating yoga into rehabilitation with a focus on helping people suffering from chronic or persistent pain, pelvic health conditions and professional burnout. She guest lectures at yoga and physiotherapy programs, presents at yoga therapy and medical conferences globally, provides mentorship to health providers, offers onsite and online continuing education courses for yoga and health professionals and is a Pain Care U Yoga Trainer. She maintains a clinical practice in Sylvan Lake, Canada and believes that cultivating meaningful connections, compassion and joy can be powerful contributors to recovery and well-being. Shelly is co-editor of the book Yoga and Science in Pain Care: Treating the Person in Pain.
