Train the Trainer Part 3: Recording 101

If you have a laptop or tablet, odds are you also have a webcam. These are highly accessible and easy to record with, using programs that may already be on your computer. Unfortunately, webcams are usually not very high quality with regard to audio or video. They are also not usually all that adaptable in terms of their settings. You may want to use these when recording content for a course, but these are essential if you are recording a webinar with us.

We recommend having a webcam that can capture at least 1280x720p resolution footage, though HD 1920x1080 is preferred. Better-quality webcams are often quite expensive, whether they are part of a laptop or a separate USB device.
