Train the Trainer Part 3: Recording 101
Cameras to avoid
Certain types of cameras are not well suited to recording video for our online lectures. For one thing, we cannot accept any film or tape-based footage as we do not have the facilities to digitize physical media.
Point-and-shoot cameras can often record video, but their quality is typically quite bad. GoPros and other “action” cameras are not recommended either, as their limited settings and extremely wide lens restrict their adaptability and image quality. These camera types may be okay for exercises if you have no other options available, but odds are you'd be better off using your phone.
