Session 1: Home Exercise Programs (HEP) on Embodia

This session will provide an overview of home exercise programs (HEP) on Embodia. Embodia's HEP features a library of thousands of exercise videos and patient education material that encourages active care and empowers patients to take control of their health.

Learn how to provide patients with easy access to their home exercise programs from free mobile apps (Apple and Android) and online (web portal). A simple interface with clear instructions guides patients through a program tailored by their practitioner during a visit. While Embodia’s focus is on the digital delivery of care, all exercises and education have print-friendly options for those patients who prefer written and/or high-quality image-based handouts.

Practitioners can prescribe from our growing library of videos, easily record a patient being coached through exercises and share these private videos securely with the patient; you can also create your own library of videos.

Practitioners are empowered to monitor patient progress via the patient dashboard which includes progress tracking, symptom levels, and other outcome measures.

"My patients LOVE having an exercise video to follow and reminders on their phone to tell them to do their exercises. This has been very well received by my patients. No more paper handouts!! The trees in beautiful Huntsville, my new hometown,  are also saying, thank you!"

-Carolyn Vandyken
