Overview
In the therapeutic context of the functional approach, the knee joint cannot be viewed as isolated. Its integration into the entire status of our body in movement and posture should always be taken into account.
Yoga Asana and the transitions of movement are especially suitable for this. Not only because they invite us to engage in greater mindfulness and introspection of our own experiences, but also because we can understand and listen better and use our breath powerfully for healing.
Even at a purely physical level, we can look at how we can achieve the goal of maintaining or restoring pain-free mobility and a stable knee joint. To do this, we didactically divide the way forward into various smaller steps, to practice them practically and to understand them intellectually through the discussion. According to experience, this increases intrinsic motivation both for ourselves and our students.
Learning Objectives
In this online course, you will:
- Learn practical tools to work with knee issues/pain.
- Obtain much food for thought on how knee pain/issues manifest and how to view them.
